Nyaribari Chache Member of Parliament, Richard Tong’i, has now urged the police to stop falling into Raila’s trap by banning any meeting to be held by NASA on Tuesday as that will result to confrontations and loss of lives.
Speaking on Sunday during a church service the MP, however, urged the police to be vigilant during the meetings to ensure that no illegal activity that is against the law occurs.
“The police should be keen when handling Raila and NASA supporters as they are always ready to begin trouble and Boinett should ensure that he provides enough security for them and ensure they are not confronted by the police,” said Tongi.
His sentiments come barely a day after Nairobi Police Commander, Japheth Koome, banned any rally by Raila Odinga and NASA team, a situation that is likely to be a dramatisation of the recent running battles between NASA supporters welcoming their leader Raila Odinga at the airport from his US visitation,
