Garissa Town MP Aden Duale could be a liability to Deputy President William Ruto's 2022 presidential ambitions, claims Kitutu Chache South MP Richard Onyonka.
For weeks now, Duale has been facing resistance from within the Jubilee party with some MPs threatening to impeach him from Majority Leader position.
"Honestly, Duale does not respect other leaders. He is drunken with power and he will dearly cost William Ruto," he said.
Over the weekend, Duale was quoted labeling Gideon Moi, a political nemesis of Ruto, a 'small' man, remarks which have not gone down well with a number of leaders.
"Actually, he is undermining everyone thinking that this is the end of the world. He is a liability and that will be confirmed soon.
"Ruto should contemplate de-whipping him to avert a real scandal cooking. He is a baggage and his language is often demeaning," he said.
Last year, Duale was put on spot when he confronted Ex-Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto over Rift Valley political supremacy.
Ruto, who is reportedly at loggerheads with President Uhuru Kenyatta, is preparing to take over in 2022.
