Hours after the grand postponement of Tuesday's inauguration ceremony, two Jubilee MPs from Nyamira have labelled Raila's decision as 'thoughtful and bright'.
A statement from NASA leadership said the inauguration will be held at a later date citing absence of Kalonzo Musyoka as key factor behind postponement.
County Women Representative Jerusha Momanyi lauded Odinga as 'focused adding that leaders surrounding him should emulate his sobriety.
"I have always known him as insightful and I am happy with the latest move. I personally believe he will embrace dialogue," she said in a telephone call.
Kitutu Masaba MP Shadrack Mose added: "He is a peaceful man and we only pray that he remains firm and protects his legally. Hopefully, he will reach the president for the sake of people."
Moments after the grand announcement, a section of NASA leaders expressed their disappointment with thousands of supporters accusing Odinga of betrayal.
To show seriousness of the exercise, Oduor Ongwen said, NASA secretariat had picked Mombasa County as the host to the ceremony.
