Taita Taveta MP Naomi Shaban has asked the National Super Alliance (NASA) to prepare its political deathbed. The Jubilee Party MP said NASA will no longer exist after the repeat presidential election slated for October 26.In an interview with the Nation, Shaban said Jubilee will condemn NASA to political exile in the repeat election. She noted that NASA leader Raila Odinga will lose terribly, saying that the former Prime Minister (PM) cannot afford the numbers to win.“Raila Odinga should prepare himself for a political ‘Tsunami’ that will sweep him to political exile,” she said as quoted by the daily.Shaban said the repeat presidential election is unnecessary since Uhuru won fairly in the August 8 poll. The Jubilee MP faulted the Supreme Court verdict that nullified Uhuru’s win terming it a coup against the will of Kenyans. She said the reasons given by the majority judges did not warrant the nullification of Uhuru’s win.“We (Jubilee) will not waste time regretting about the Supreme Court verdict but we will go the people to seek their votes to ensure Uhuru wins again,” she added. The Taveta lawmaker urged the IEBC to prepare thoroughly and ensure the repeat presidential election is done within the stipulated time.Shaban urged Kenyans to remain peaceful ahead of the fresh presidential poll.
