National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale on Tuesday, led 20 other MPs from the coalition in saying Raila should personally be held responsible for the chaos.

He said the opposition has refused to follow the right channels in removing the IEBC commissioners from office thus leading to bloodshed.

"Raila Odinga should be held personally responsible for the bloodshed witnessed in a section of the nation on Monday," said Duale.

The Garissa Township MP said the protests have given rowdy youths a chance to loot and destroy property of innocent citizens.

Monday, May 16, has now been christened bloody Monday following the orgy events.

Cord supporters were dispersed by police as they held demonstrations against the IEBC commissioners.

Cord wants the commissioners to vacate office claiming they cannot be trusted to hold a free and fair election in 2017 as they will favour Jubilee.

Both the IEBC and Jubilee have denied the allegations.

In the Monday incident, rowdy youths took advantage of the ensuing melee to rob  passers-by and loot shops.

Police on the other hand have been accused of using too much force to disperse the protesters.

Although the protests are yet to be staged in Nakuru County, ODM branch officials have said they will join their Nairobi counterparts on Monday next week.
