Jubilee Party  MPs are set to be chief agents of President Uhuru Kenyatta during the repeat presidential polls set for October 26.

They will be tasked with signing and getting Forms 34B at their constituencies.

The directive was given by Uhuru and DP William Ruto at a meeting at State House, Nairobi, attended by governors and MPs from JP and its affiliates.

The MPs were tasked to recruit and manage agents for each of the polling stations.

"We are having a meeting with all our leaders to apprise ourselves on election management. We want to make sure the mischief and loopholes that were used in the nullification of a fairly won election do not happen again," Ruto said.

The meeting also resolved that campaigns for Uhuru reelection should kick off at the ward level.
