Political analyst Daisy Amdany has accused both the Jubilee party and the National Super Alliance (NASA) political grandstanding as a course for the country plunging into a crisis.
According to Amdany, NASA's IEBC grandstanding and Jubilee's stand on changing the electoral laws before the October presidential election will only create more divisions and thus cause problems for the country.
"As a country, we will face a crisis due to NASA and Jubilee grandstanding on various issues affecting the October presidential poll. The two political outfits should iron out their issues once and for all for the sake of other Kenyans," reiterated Amdany.
The analyst further disagreed with IEBC for seeking the help of the United Nations (UN) in conducting the October election.
She believes the electoral body should only seek for suggestions and advice from UN but arrange and conduct the election themselves as dictated by the constitution.
"We don't need the UN meddling with our electoral processes. IEBC can seek advice and suggestions from the UN but should arrange and conduct the election themselves as defined by the constitution," the analyst added.
Amdany made the remarks on Wednesday during a political debate on Citizen TV. She went ahead and congratulated both NASA and Jubilee for attending a meeting organized by IEBC.
