IEBC's meeting with NASA and Jubilee failed to take place on Tuesday due to the Supreme court's reading of the full judgment that led to the nullification of the August 8 polls.

All parties canceled the meeting with the commission chaired by Wafula Chebukati saying they would wait for the Supreme Court's full judgment.

The meeting was to take place on Wednesday afternoon.

In a statement to the press yesterday evening, Jubilee Party's secretary general Raphael Tuju said they would not participate in the consultative meeting and asked Chebukati to reschedule it to an "appropriate future date".

"It is our considered opinion that issues arising therefrom may have a bearing on the agenda of the said meeting," Tuju said.

"We will need to go through the detailed judgment so that our contribution can be more constructive."
