While NASA principals Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi, Moses Wetangula and Isaac Ruto will address opposition supporters at the famous Uhuru Park, President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy, William Ruto, will lead the Jubilee brigade in marketing Uhuru’s second bid for State House at Nyayo National Stadium.

Uhuru Park and Nyayo National Stadium are less than two kilometres apart.

Before Saturday’s rallies, NASA leaders will hold a series of meetings in Coast before holding its last rally in the region whose economy wholly relies on tourism at Tononoka grounds, Mombasa.

Uhuru and his Jubilee team on the other hand will campaign in Narok and Kiambu Counties.

The two leading presidential contenders are scrambling for a pie of the 19.6 million registered voters in one of Kenya’s most competitive elections.

NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga is confident that the opposition will beat Uhuru during the poll.

Uhuru on the other hand says NASA leaders have no agenda geared towards transforming the country and Kenyans would thus not vote for Raila.

Security has already been beefed up in the city ahead of the Saturday rallies.
