Two groups supporting jubilee and NASA respectively on Monday caused clashed at Tabaka ward in Kisii county during campaign rallies.
Trouble started when Jubilee youths attacked a campaign trail of NASA youths and they fought for minutes before the police took control of the situation.
Pro-Jubilee youths threw stones at the NASA campaign caravan and told them to quit stepping into Tabaka a perceived Jubilee zone. No injuries were however reported.
Some of the NASA youths accused Tabaka ward rep Daniel Apepo who was elected under the Jubilee ticket for fuelling the fracas by funding Jubilee youths to attack them.
Led by ODM county youth leader Mengo Ochwangi the youth said that they have already recorded a statement at Tabaka police on the incident and called upon them to take steady fast action.
"We're not going to allow any person to stop the NASA youths from campaigning in the area and we will ensure Raila guns more votes," said Mengo.
Mengo, however, told Jubilee supporters the region will only develop if the NASA takes power through Raila Odinga.
