Wiper Democratic Movement - Kenya (WDM-K) leader, Kalonzo Musyoka, has accused the Jubilee administration, of unlawfully intruding the larger Ukambani region.
The National Super Alliance (Nasa) deputy presidential candidte said Jubilee has started buying national identification cards, from Ukambani residents, with intentions of denying Nasa victory, in the August 8, elections.
Kalonzo is regarded the political kingpin of Ukambani region, and his influence, is seen as a big win for Nasa, as it seeks to unseat President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee.
Kalonzo noted Jubilee was using local administration officers such as Chiefs and County Commissioners, to buy the ID cards, a move he said was unlawful.
"They are now using wrong tactics to rig elections. They are buying ID cards from Ukambani residents, using Chiefs and Commissioners. This is unlawful. We will not accept it," Kalonzo lamented.
Speaking when he took Nasa campaigns to Mwingi, Kitui County, Monday, the former vice president and area MP warned Chiefs and Commissioners against being used to sponsor rigging and unconstitutional activities, saying Nasa has good plans for them.
"We in Nasa said we will elevate all the Chiefs to high ranks. We said we will not sack them. So if they have started being duped, it is unfortunate. Let nobody lie to you to help them rig, because Nasa is going to win," he said.
