A section of Jubilee leaders from Nyamira now wants NASA leader Raila Odinga arrested over planned swearing-in.
On Tuesday, a determined Raila told Voice of America that he may form government from exile, a move that has further intensified tensions.
"I may decide to form government from exile. It has happened before and I am not scared about it," he said.
Already, NASA has come up with an affidavit which each legislator is supposed to sign in support of the swearing-in.
But the Nyamira branch group led by Borabu's Youth Secretary Dennis Mobisa wants the police to arrest Raila for 'sabotaging' progress in the country.
"He is becoming a dangerous species in the country through his constant threats. He is a saboteur of the economy.
"We must not that he is not above the law. Such swearing-in amounts to treason and should be punished by being subjected to the rule of law," he said.
With the Western countries keen to initiate a dialogue, Raila insists that the talks should include electoral justice as the main agenda.
