A politician from the Rift Valley allied to the National Super Alliance (Nasa) has faulted the Jubilee Party over what he terms as "obsession with flawed elections".Speaking in Eldoret Town, Uasin Gishu ODM chairman David Songok accused the ruling party of being a stumbling block to reforms at the IEBC a move he said was aimed at ensuring that any possible electoral outcome would favor them."Why should Jubilee defend the bad elements at the IEBC whom we want to exit? It is simply because they are obsessed with a flawed electoral process that will extend their stranglehold on power," he said on Thursday. While announcing that Nasa supporters from Rift Valley would from Monday stage demonstrations in Eldoret town, Songok reiterated that the opposition outfit will not take part in the October 26 repeat polls as had earlier been indicated by Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka. While withdrawing from the race on Tuesday, the coalition accused the poll body of treating its 'irreducible minimums' casually and ignoring the constitutional demands for free and fair elections.
