President Uhuru Kenyatta has been accused for planning to leave the country bankrupt once he retires in 2022.
West Mugirango constituency Jubilee party secretary Boniface Osubo said Uhuru should be impeached.
“Uhuru is playing cards with Kenyans by giving false hope that he will end corruption before he retires in 2022. We have not seen any corrupt official in government who has been sent to jail for stealing public money since Uhuru took over power in 2013,” said Osubo.
He said tax payers’ money will end up into people’s pockets if Uhuru will not be sent home through impeachment.
“Jubilee and NASA MPs should consider impeaching Uhuru to prevent further embezzlement of public funds,” he added.
Osubo noted the funds being stolen by few individuals should be used to fund various development projects across the country.
