Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Peter Kenneth has offered office space to the Jubilee Party secretariat after Party of National Unity (PNU) kicked them out of their premises.

Both parties were claiming ownership of the old offices in Kangemi.

However, PNU boss Peter Munya led followers in repainting the building in their traditional blue party colours.

“Peter Kenneth had an existing, well-equipped and running office, so he simply told them to transfer their documents, and staff to his,” said a source as quoted by the Standard.

The source further added that Jubilee had shifted their offices to Pangani and that the building in Kangemi was therefore rightfully owned by PNU.

“For the past one year, PNU has been asking Jubilee to move out, but they have been adamant since they inherited the office from The National Alliance (TNA) party,” the source further claimed.

But the Jubilee Party Secretary General Veronicah Maina has insisted that the offices in Kangemi belong to Jubilee Party while the Jubilee secretariat head Raphael Tuju has said that it is only the trustees who will decide which of the parties owns the building.
