Majority leader in the Nationa Assembly Aden Duale has confirmed that President Uhuru Kenyatta will unveil Jubilee party officials in two weeks time.
The Garissa township lawmaker who was speaking on Sunday said that the officials will be tasked with traversing the country in a bid to solicit votes for the party that will be used by President Uhuru Kenyatta to seek re-election in 2017.
He further stressed that the party has no preferred candidate since the nomination will be free and fair but the party will be rooting for a six-piece voting pattern.
A section of leaders from parties that were dissolved to for Jubilee had urged the leadership to hand them certain top position.
Bungoma Governor and former leader of New Ford Ken Lusaka has in the past maintained that the secretary general position should be given to him.
