The Jubilee Party, led by President Uhuru Kenyatta, has received Sh715.8 million nomination fees from aspirants.
The fees are from politicians aspiring for MCA, MP, Women Representative, Senate and Governor seats.
The party has also made Sh150 million from sale of the Jubilee smart cards which were to be used during the nomination exercise.
Aspiring Governors paid Sh500,000, senators Sh250,000, MPs Sh250,000, woman representatives Sh250,000 and MCAs Sh50,000.
Jubilee has 106 people aspiring for governor seats, 161 for senator, 171 woman representative hopefuls, 1,006 for MP and 6,568 for ward representative.
It is not clear how much their presidential candidate, Uhuru, paid.
The Party will have candidates in 261 out of the 290 constituencies.
“Jubilee has submitted the list of all aspirants in the six positions. The positions are very competitive,” Executive Director Winnie Guchu said in a statement on Thursday.
She said the party will train 94 county and constituency coordinators and 2,016 county election board members, to oversee the primaries at the county level.
The party has as many as 25 aspirants for MCA seat in one ward, 17 MP aspirants in one constituency, 15 for the Senate, 13 for woman MP and nine for governor in each county.
