Head of the campaign secretariat Raphael Tuju said the party will form a Dispute Resolution Committee to resolve disputes that arose during the picking of interim county officials.

“Depending on the deliberations, the committee will make a decision on whether there will be a repeat of the recruitment exercise in the affected areas,” said Tuju.

Speaking at the party headquarters, Tuju said the committee, which is yet to be constituted, will be independent of the secretariat.

“Jubilee Party constitution has a provision for setting up a dispute resolution mechanism independent from the secretariat. The team will listen to all submissions from various counties and make a decision,” he said.

Tuju said the exercise was largely peaceful with the exception of four counties where incidents of violence were reported outside the election venues.
