The National Alliance party Secretary General Onyango Oloo has said the Jubilee coalition is in the final stages of forming the Jubilee Party.

Mr Oloo said the 12 parties constituting the Jubilee coalition will soon come together and join the new party.

He said TNA is ready for the big merger that will define Kenya’s political scene.

“This is going to be the vehicle of the head of state in 2017. I welcome every Kenyan to join this party,” he said.

He said the main reason for the formation of JP is to bring together all Kenyans and break the yoke of politics of negative ethnic and regional parties.

Speaking to the press in Kisumu on Sunday, Mr Oloo said the new outfit will be all inclusive adding that they will also meet governors and Members of County Assemblies ahead of the expected merger to explain the ideals of the party.

He said the journey is on and they are not looking back adding that they are determined to make Jubilee Party the largest and the most vibrant in the country.

He said all parties in the current Jubilee coalition have agreed in principal to form the new Jubilee Party adding that all the necessary legal and institutional measures were being put in place.
