Amani National Congress (ANC) Party Leader Musalia Mudavadi has dismissed the luxurious launch of the Jubilee Party as a waste of resources and an act of pure extravagance.
Speaking at Ololung’a in Narok South during the burial of former Lugari Member of Parliament Cyrus Jirongo’s father in-law, Mudavadi told the Jubilee Party leaders to brace for a rough duel politically come 2017.
“Let us not be threatened by the launch as it is just an event like any other. The launch does not vote, but it is upon the electorate to decide when the time comes.” Mudavadi said.
Mudavadi further said that his party is committed to uniting all Kenyans regardless of party affiliations or tribe and that is why they have not dissolved their affiliate parties.
He also added that the Luhya as a community are willing to work with other communities and help them ascend to power in an a bid to win the Maasai community over to ANC.
