The 12 parties have agreed to dissolve and form one party ahead of 2017 elections.

Dissolving the parties to form one party will favor the presidents since there will be no any other candidate from the dissolved parties who will develop the interest to vie for the presidency in 2017 or 2022.

President Kenyatta will finish his 2nd term as Kenyan president if he wins in 2017 and in 2022, his deputy William Ruto will take over.

All parties forming one party will support only one presidential candidate as those members who will be seeking to vie for MP, senator, governor, MCA, women representatives will have to go on a nomination process where many will lose chances of being nominated to vie for seats in next elections.

Since there will be no any other candidate from the new Jubilee party, this will give president Kenyatta a walk over since he will be vying for the presidency seat.

All other members who will be nominated and those who will fail to be nominated will have to support Jubilee and this puts Jubilee administration at a better position to win 2017 elections.
