Few weeks after the ODM party released a list of amounts of money that aspirants should pay for party nominations, the Jubilee party has released its list as well.
For Jubilee, gubernatorial aspirants are expected to pay a non-refundable fee of Sh100,000; Sh50,000 for senators; Sh30,000 for women representatives and Members of Parliament; and Sh20,000 for aspirants seeking to be Members of the County Assembly.
The president Uhuru Kenyatta-led party however indicated, that all women, and youth under 35-years-old and Persons Living With Disabilities, who seek to vie for the respective posts, will pay half the amount of money, set aside for respective positions.
Raila Odinga's ODM political aspirants seeking to vie for the presidential post are required to pay the sum of Sh1 million non-refundable fee; Sh500,000 for the gubernatorial post; and Sh250,000 for those seeking senatorial and Member of Parliament posts.
MCA ODM aspirants are required to pay Sh25,000, while those classified under special groups such as the youth, women and the disabled, are required to pay Sh15,000, for the nomination certificate.
