Kisumu West MP Olago Aluoch has claimed there is an attempt to bar Kenyans from discussing the controversial Eurobond.

Mr Olago said there are clear signs that the government is trying hard to gag the public from talking anything related to the Eurobond saga.

PM Olago alleged that the Jubilee administration has also sponsored an activists to move to court to demand on how the money was used.

“These are clear manifestations that the government is hell bent on forcing Kenyans not to talk about this scandal,” he said.

He was speaking in his constituency on Friday when he gave out driving licenses to motorbike riders.

“You will hear that the matter is in court, the matter is under investigations and nobody is allowed to speak about it. It will be even difficult for parliament t debate it,” he said.

Mr Olago said the order will be extended to former Prime Minister Raila Odinga who has been vocal about the issue not to discuss it anywhere until the matter before court is heard and determined.

He said there is need to ensure that case pushed by the activists is struck off to give Kenyans freedom to speak on the matter since it is dear to them.
