Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi has claimed the Jubilee government is planning to hijack the National Super Alliance before it is registered.
IIn a statement sent to newsrooms, Mr Mudavadi said some Jubilee politicians are trying to register the name at the registrar of parties.
He however, dared them to register any party under the name for they shall face legal consequences.
"We have beaten Jubilee on this one," he said as quoted by the Star.
"The registrar of political parties Lucy Ndung'u says there were various applications for the registration of NASA but our swift action safeguarded NASA. Jubilee is so scared of NASA."
According to Mudavadi, NASA is a policy and issue-based partnership that is aimed at forming a democratic and accountable government that will help alleviate the people from the already run down economy.
He further said the country is being subjected to looting spree where the culprits openly criticise.
