Kisii Jubilee point man Anthony Kibagendi, has again chided Ongwae's Sugar Factory construction plan.
Kibagendi said that the plan of construction of a sugar factory at South Mogirango will not benefit the county at large.
This is because it is not profitable, a reason why even the westerners want to do away with theirs.
In his Facebook post on Thursday, Kibagendi said he will never tire to give his side of mind upon the Kisii County government leadership that has a myriad of mistakes.
"You are hellbent on destroying part of Nyangweta Forest to build a sugar factory, sugar processing business is what people from Western Kenya and South Nyanza are running away from, purely because it is no longer profitable given the COMESA trade agreements and generally unethical business practices from Sugar importing cartels. So kindly just shelve that idea, it won't work." Kibagendi said.
He also added that the county's leadership is losing billions of taxpayer's money because of tens of unfinished projects. Some of which started long ago and later on collapsed leading to a big loss.
"The county has lost billions of taxpayers money, tens of unfinished project and a few others collapsed," Kibagendi added.
He now wants the Kisii Governor James Ongwae to venture into other projects that are profitable and will help the County residents.
He proposed that some cold buildings be set, where local farmers store their produce as they wait for transportation.
Kibagendi was vying Mp seat as ODM party member last year but after last year's bungled ODM primaries, he deviated and contested the seat under Jubilee ticket. Since then, he has been unmasking the County leadership mistakes.
