Despite support from politicians from across the divide, a Jubilee MCA has opposed unitary talks between President Uhuru Kenyatta and his political nemesis Raila Odinga.
Already, DP William Ruto seems to have joined the bandwagon by congratulating the duo despite being sidelined for unknown reasons.
"We should stop complaining all the time and join hands. I challenge those who are dissatisfied to join us in developing the country," he said on Saturday.
But Chepkorio MCA in Elgeyo Marakwet William Kiplagat says the secret pack could sabotage DP William Ruto's quest to ascend to power in 2022.
According to him, the late inclusion of Raila in government was uncalled for adding that the matrix could furter complicate things for Ruto.
"We are concerned that this will not auger well with DP in 2022. It concerns us that Raila should have been brought when a lot had been done to consolidate support for Ruto," he said.
Politicians from the vote rich Rift Valley led by Emurua Dikir MP Johanna Ng'eno now want Ruto to reconcile with his critics in Rift Valley for his own good in 2022.
