Former Kilifi North MP Gideon Mung’aro has accused the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) of siding with NASA leader Raila Odinga.Speaking to journalists in Malindi Town on Thursday, Munga’ro claimed that Chebukati and his team are dancing to Raila’s tune.Munga’ro said that IEBC being an independent body has to give both Jubilee and NASA equal attention.“It is becoming clear that IEBC is dancing to Raila Odinga’s tune something that is unacceptable,” said Mung’aro, as quoted by the Standard.The former MP said Jubilee leaders will not allow IEBC to favour the opposition.“There must be an equal playing field and we will fight vehemently against any attempts by NASA to interfere with the IEBC,” he added.He asked NASA to respect the IEBC and allow the commission to do its work independently.Mung’aro further claimed that NASA is afraid of facing off with President Uhuru Kenyatta and is looking for excuses to avoid the repeat presidential election slated for October 17.
