Mandera Women Representative Amina Gedow Hassan visited the KCSE student who was hospitalized in Kenyatta Hospital after he lost his hand following an electrocution.
The Women Rep noted that Nunow was a talented footballer who plays for Mandera Shanto FC.
“His dream was cut short by such an unfortunate incident which robbed our son of his desire to live up to his expectation,” said Gedow.
She further noted that she learned of the unfortunate incident through Mandera West Youth Association who contacted her shortly after jetting back into the country.
Amina promised of her unconditional support to the affected student.
“Nothing is more devastating, both psychologically and physically than losing an arm, especially for a young boy who is preparing to seat for his KCSE exams later this year,” further stated the Women Rep.
She appealed for contribution from the public to help the victim so as to keep his mind at peace.
