This comes after a senate aspirant Anderson Kathendu left the PNU party and more are in the pipeline to do so.

“Our opponents are very desperate and have turned to paying PNU aspirants to leave the party,” said Munya.

He was speaking in Igembe Central after opening Muuru dispensary on Friday.

He added that PNU was aware of the scheme and that a plan B is being sought.

He said the party will field fresh candidates if some of the aspirants defected.
