[Photo/Nation]Tharaka Nithi senator Kithure Kindiki says Jubilee is not bothered with the new changes that have been made in the electoral body, IEBC, ahead of the October 17 repeat presidential poll.In the changes, IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati appointed Marjan Hussein Marjan to be head of project coordinator, Dr Sidney Namulungu appointed as head of operations, Nancy Kariuki as head of logistics, Bernard Misati Moseti as head of training.Albert Gogo wil head ICT, under supervision of the National Returning Officer (Chebukati) while Silas Rotich will head the National tallying centre.Speaking on Tuesday during an interview at Citizen TV, Kindiki said President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee party does not care who gets what position."Jubilee is not bothered by IEBC personal changes. We don't care who gets which role," said Kindiki. He added, "What is important is that IEBC handles elections credibly."The Jubilee senator criticised the National Super Alliance (Nasa) for attacking the electoral body. This is after Nasa demanded IEBC to address some issues it raised ahead of the poll."Nasa demands amount to interference with IEBC. IEBC must be insulated from undue influence," Kindiki noted."Nasa should allow IEBC to get the job done," he added.
