The Jubilee Party tribunal has received a massive 93 appeals disputing results of the on-going primaries across the country.
The party has said it will deliver rulings on the individual cases on Saturday afternoon.
"We have started full hearing of the appeals. So far we have not delivered any ruling on the same but the earliest we anticipate is Saturday afternoon," said tribunal vice chairperson Hillary Sigei as quoted by the Star.
Sigei said that the tribunal will delve into all issues brought up in the appeals before issuing judgement.
"We have to collect and verify all the raw data from our field returning officers and further listen to the version of all parties in each appeal," he said.
Sigei added that the tribunal will only work on appeals that are lodged formally after each complainant fills a form and pays the stipulated Sh1,000.
National Elections Board chair Andrew Musangi had earlier said that there will be no re-tallying of already announced results until an appeal is heard and determined.
“For clarity purposes, we wish to categorically inform the public and all contestants that once counting is finished results tallied and announced by the Returning Officers, those results stay until and unless someone lodges a complaint with the party’s Appeals Tribunal,” he said.
He said that all aspirants disputing the results had been given 48 hours to present formal complaints and serve a copy of the same to their respective competitors.
He said the tribunal is committed to ensuring justice to everyone and that the aspirants should have no reason to worry.
