Kisii County senator Sam Ongeri has claimed that the Jubilee government is taking opposition NASA for granted hence using police officers to intimidate leaders allied to NASA.
The senator speaking on Monday in Kisii town said opposition will not be intimidated or blackmailed by the Jubilee regime.
"Using a lot of force on opposition leaders will not scare NASA from pushing for electoral justice in the country. Opposition leaders are also entitled to security like those supporting Jubilee," he said.
He called on Kisii County residents not to fall into the tricks by Jubilee government to rally behind president Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto.
"Residents should be keen not to fall into the tricks by the Jubilee government. Locals should not be lured by development projects initiated by the Jubilee government since the projects are funded through the money they pay as taxes," he said.
Ongeri added that Kisii County remains an opposition region.
"Jubilee politicians from the region should stop misleading locals that Kisii region is a Jubilee zone. I want to clarify that Kisii will never side to the corrupt and dictatorship," stated the ODM senator.
