The Jubilee party will hold it primaries on Friday and a lot is at stake after ridiculing the chaotic ODM nominations.
There are possibilities of chaos in Jubilee strongholds like Kiambu County but Kalembe Ndile says opposition parties can also take advantage of the situation and cause violence if party register is not used.
The former Kibwezi legislature said the party register will make sure that the process is peaceful and the results are free and fair.
“The party register will help prevent our opponents from other parties from interfering with the nominations and avoid violence,” Kalembe said.
His sentiments were echoed by Mlolongo MCA aspirant Danson Ndungu.
Speaking in Mlolongo, the two aspirants urged their party not to emulate Orange Democratic Movement disorganization.
In Busia County, there is a standoff between the incumbent Sospeter Ojaamong’ and MP Paul Otuoma.
The later has vowed not to participate in repeat nominations while the sitting governor is blaming the party for poor organization. The same confusion has been witnessed in other counties.
