Jubilee Party has rejected ODM's win at Nyacheki during the Wednesday by-election that saw Naftali Nyaberi Onkoba carry the day after garnering 2,216 votes compared to his main rival from Jubilee Maxwell Magoma who got 1,173.
In a statement on Thursday, Albert Nyaundi of JP said the results should be nullified as their supporters were locked out of 21 polling stations.
They further said the election process was marred with chaos and voter bribery.
According to Nyaundi, the party will seek legal redress over the irregularities that were experienced during the process.
"On behalf of Jubilee Party, we wish to state that the Nyacheki ward by-election exercise was marred with blatant disregard of etiquette and civility of the electoral process," he told the media.
"As a result, we are not conceding defeat in the by-election and will take necessary legal action to have the results nullified."
Nyaundi added that Jubilee supporters maintained peace throughout the exercise and accused ODM members of barring observers from accessing polling stations.
