Jubilee Majority leader Aden Duale. DUale opposed UNDP's involvement in the October 26 poll.
Jubilee party through its majority leader Aden Duale has said that Jubilee will not allow to get UNDP involved in the upcoming October presidential election.
Majority leader was speaking at a meeting of Jubilee Party and its affiliates on Tuesday.
Duale said that a financial deal with the UN would act contrary to the Public Finance Management laws of Kenya.
Earlier Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission Chairperson Wafula Chebukati said they had a financial agreement with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for the purchasing of election ballot papers and other statutory forms.
The National Super Alliance (NASA) came out to oppose the move, pointing a business relationship between UNDP and Dubai-based Printing firm Al Ghurair.
"Now they are telling us that UNDP will pay for the printing. Kenyans can pay for it, there is a budget for that. We simply don't want Al Ghurair to print anything,"Raila said.
