Jubilee Party has resolved to hold nominations in Kisii and Nyamira after consensus talks failed.

Aspirants for various seats have holding negotiations to  have some drop out of the race.

Others were supposed to defect to JP-allied parties to avert fallout and chaotic nominations.

In Nyamira, talks between governor aspirants Charles Mochama and former Kitutu Masaba MP Walter Nyambati failed.

“Reports that I have pulled out to support Nyambati are false. I’m still in the race and ready for the primaries,” said Mochama.

Mochama had earlier been promised a slot in the East African Legislative Assembly.
