Jubilee Party has welcomed the new date set by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) for the upcoming fresh presidential election.In a statement on Thursday, IEBC announced that the new date for the poll will be moved to October 26, 2017 from October 17.Their move came a day after the Supreme Court of Kenya delivered its full judgement on nullification of the August 8 presidential election results.Welcoming the new date, Elgeyo Marakwet senator Kipchumba Murkomen said Jubilee supporters will once again affirm their support for President Uhuru Kenyatta. "We welcome the new date set by IEBC.We are ready once again to affirm the indisputable&overwhelming support that@JubileePartyK enjoys" said Murkomen in a Twitter post, Thursday.
