Jubilee nominated Senator Paul Njoroge was on Tuesday caught on camera allegedly shooting Vivo energy CEO Polycarp Igathe in Naivasha town.The Senator who has since fallen out with the Jubilee Party caused a stir as he pointed a gun at Igathe in public without hesitation.Reliable sources revealed that the incident happened after Igathe led a group of persons to recover assets at the petrol station which Njoroge owns. So Njoroge pulled out a gun to scare Igathe's team from taking assets from his petrol station.
An irate and emotional Njoroge blamed business rivalry for the incident, adding that he complied with all regulations.
"I paid Sh2.5 million to Vivo and I have insurance of Sh6 million. The fuel company decided to ignore a court order," he said.
Njoroge was later arrested and is set for a court hearing on Wednesday.
