Jubilee senator Paul Njoroge has urged Garissa Township MP Aden Duale to take responsibility after being mentioned in the NYS scandal.
The nominated senator now is now appealing to President Uhuru to break his silence and have Duale and other Jubilee accomplices including DP Ruto to step aside to pave way for investigations into the much-talked scandal.
"This appeal goes to President Kenyatta to ask his Deputy William Ruto, Majority leader Aden Duale and Senator Kipchumba Murkomen to step aside like what happened to the former Chief of Staff Maryanne Keitany so as to pave way for quick investigations into the NYS issue,'’ senator Njoroge said.
The politician further added that officers from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and those from the Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission (EACC) be given power to access the bank accounts of persons whose names have been adversely mentioned in the scandal.
He also disclosed that there were more faces behind the National Youth Service mega corruption scandal, saying Waiguru should never be crucified for sins committed by a larger group of powerful government officers.
"We cannot continue fooling Kenyans by making them think the former Devolution Cabinet Secretary Anne Waiguru stole the NYS funds alone, yet the real thieves are enjoying the loot anonymously" he added.
