The government since then has worked hard trying to achieve the objectives it penned but still runs short on some aspects they had promised to tackle after the election.

The government has been plagued with issues including insecurity, corruption, youth unemployment, draconian media laws and the harassment of critical voices in civil societies.

All these have dented the work done by President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto.

The government has succeeded in improving service delivery in a number of sectors but still a lot needs to be done as time is running out and the next general elections nearing.

The government should pull up its socks to try and achieve most of its goals if not all.
