Jubilee supporters have applauded President Uhuru Kenyatta for appointing Minister for Interior Security Fred Matiang'i and Chris Obure as a chief administrative secretary in the Ministry of transport and infrastructure.
Led by Jubilee youth leaders Evans Rambeka and Cyrus Oanda they said they are happy to see their support for Kenyatta as the Gusii community getting rewarded.
Mr Rambeka said they will continue to support Jubilee administration.
Mr Oanda urged Obure not to forget to bring development in the county.
"We ask Mr Obure not to forget to bring change in the county, " he said.
Their sentiments were echoed by former nominated Member of County Assembly Tabitha Okong'o who asked the president to set aside more slots for the youths and women who supported him.
"We are in Jubilee to stay, in 2022 we are going to support any Jubilee candidate," she said.
