Elected Jubilee leaders in Uasin Gishu county have promised to transport tens of their supporters to Nairobi to attend the swearing-in ceremony for President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Speaking while celebrating Supreme Court ruling that upheld President Uhuru Kenyatta's win in the October 26 repeat Presidential election, the leaders said they would hire vehicles that will provide transport to and from Nairobi for their supporters.

Led by Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi, Caleb Kositany of Soy and Ainabkoi's William Chepkut, the politicians expressed the need for their supporters to witness the President of their choice take oath office for the second term.

"Because you are part of this winning team, I will provide 20 matatus to transport people from here in Eldoret to Nairobi so that they can witness the historical event like from Kasarani," Sudi said.

"You know I am always compliant so on the plan to transport people to Nairobi for the swearing in, count me in," added Chepkut.

President Kenyatta is scheduled to be sworn in for the second term on Tuesday at the Kasarani stadium and preparations are already on following the Supreme Court decision to throw out two petitions that were challenging his reelection.
