A controversial memo authored by suspected ODM supporters warns Jubilee supporters from staying within Kisii town ahead of Raila Odinga’s tour.

Odinga, who was unveiled as flag bearer of the opposition outfit NASA, is expected in the South Nyanzan town on Wednesday courtesy of Governor James Ongwae.

And the viral message circulating online also demands that rival supporters chant NASA and pro-Odinga slogans in the material day, failure to which they will face ‘severe consequences’.

“All Jubilee supporters will be allowed to operate 50KM away from town 48 hrs. to the tour. We are allergic to their faces,” read the memo.

“The name Raila Odinga will not be complete without the mention of President Joshua,” added the statement in an apparent reference to Raila’s recent imitation of the Biblical Joshua.

Although host Governor James Ongwae has not addressed the issue, he however urged locals to turn in large numbers to the stadium.

“He will be touring on Wednesday and we are happy to host him. We welcome all Kenyans to attend,’ read a statement from Ongwae’s communication team.
