Kericho County Governor Paul Chepkwony and senator Aaron Cheruiyot speaking at the county assembly on Thursday after Dominic Rono was sworn in as speaker assured that plans have been finalized to receive UhuRuto.

The governor urged Kericho and Bomet electorates to turn up in large numbers to welcome the Jubilee party bosses.

"Those who never voted in the August 8 general election now have a chance to cast votes for Uhuru and Ruto on October 17," he said.

On his part, senator Cheruiyot said they will ensure hospitalized voters are ferried to polling stations and back to the facilities after voting.

He said NASA will not get votes in the region.

"No single vote will go to waste. NASA should be ready for another humiliating defeat in the hands of Uhuru and Ruto," he said.

He accused the Supreme Court of subjecting Kenyans to a repeat election over a matter judges would have thrown out using their discretion.
