Raila who spoke Sunday in Nyamira County during Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire's homecoming,  said Jubilee is returning Kenya to the dark days of dictatorship.

He claimed Deputy President William Ruto, Internal Security Cabinet secretary Joseph Nkaissery and Majority Leader Aden Duale are on a mission to silence the Opposition.

“The Jubilee government is eroding all the freedoms we fought so hard for. They want to take us back to the one party state,” said Raila.

He added that they are ready to take to the streets if it came to that.

“We will fight to resist such attempts to take back the country to dark days even if it means going to the streets,” said Raila.

On his part, Mr Bosire accused the government of using the three arrested Jubilee leaders to justify the arrests of the Cord leaders.
