Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has maintained that the Jubilee administration had a hand in the chaos that were witnessed in Migori on Monday, leaving scores injured.
Speaking in Mombasa on Wednesday when he addressed members of the ODM disability league, the deputy party leader who has had several run ins with the government over the past few weeks, said that the guns were pointed at his seat and that his car was shot at at least two times, an indication that he was the main target during the attack."The aim is to scare us and confine us to our houses. But I am telling Jubilee that we will not be intimidated and we will venture out and campaign for our party,” said Joho, as quoted by the standard.Joho who accused the Jubilee regime of misusing power in a bid to intimidate its critics, urged the residents to reject Jubilee at the ballot in the August polls."I am calling on Kenyans of goodwill to vote out the Jubilee government come August 8. I believe life will be better after Jubilee is voted out,” he added.
