Speaking in his office yesterday, Nakuru County Deputy Governor Joseph Rutto dismissed Kiambu County Governor Kabogo’s sentiments noting that we should not attempt to cross the river before we reach it.

“Since the inception of the ruling coalition, communities from the Rift Valley region have co-existed in peace something that progressive leaders should spearhead at all times,” he said

Bahati legislator Kimani Ngunjiri, who spoke while in Rongai constituency,  told off Kabogo.

"Jubilee won’t be divided by people thinking of self-interest," Kabogo said.

Ngunjiri who is the chairman for Nakuru County MPs said residents are supporting Ruto fully.

"We are not following Ruto blindly but with purpose. We all know what cohesion initiated by jubilee has done for us." Ngunjiri said.

The leaders said Kabogo should apologize and withdraw the statement otherwise they will call on Jubilee Party to lock him out of party nomination.

They warned Kabogo against diverting national attention to the wrong agenda and should deal with his differences with Ferdinand Waititu honorably.
