Aisha Jumwa is one expensive woman if her allegations are anything to go by.
The ODM MP claims she was offered Sh20 million to join Jubilee which she declined saying the amount is what she spends on ‘outings’.
Jumwa who is the Kilifi Woman Representative says the Jubilee government is trying to bribe her to defect from ODM.
In a video posted online, Jumwa said Jubilee agents have been trying to convince her to defect from the Raila-led Orange Democratic Movement.
“Juzi walinifuata na kaoffer ka Sh20 million nikawaambia my dear hiyo ni pesa yangu ya outing…outing. Kama walikaa huko wakafikiria labda Aisha Jumwa atatishika na pesa ati oh…ati 20 million,” Jumwa said.
She said Jubilee wanted to bribe her like other Coast region politicians like Kilifi North MP Gideon Mung’aro who has already decamped to Jubilee.
Jumwa said anyone who decamps from ODM will have their political fate sealed like that of former ODM luminaries Najib Balala and Charity Ngilu.
She has been at the forefront defending ODM adding that no one who decamps will weaken the party, a jibe seen to be thrown at former ODM Secretary-General Ababu Namwamba and Funyula MP Paul Otuoma.
