Speaking during an interview with Citizen TV on Thursday, the former cabinet minister said following the publication of registered voters by the IEBC, NASA had realised that they don't have the required numbers and has thus resorted to other unorthodox means of winning elections.
"NASA candidate Raila Odinga said this election will be won once the IEBC releases the total number of registered voters. And when the IEBC did so, the tune changed because they realised we have outnumbered them," Tuju said.
The former Rarieda lawmaker further added that key NASA strongholds of Migori, Kisumu, Homa Bay and Saiya combined had an equivalent bloc equal to two Jubilee strongholds of Kiambu and Muranga brought together.
"The interesting thing is, if you combine the votes of Siaya, Kisumu, Homa Bay and Migori they only equal to our two bases of Kiambu and Muranga," he said.
The four Nyanza counties brought together, have a voter population of 1,861,730 votes while Kiambu and Muranga combined have a total of 1,764,378 votes. This is if the IEBC figures are anything to go by.
"Notwithstanding is the fact that we have made inroads into their key vote blocs of Coast and Western. They stand no chance against us," he concluded.
