Leader of Majority in Parliament Aden Duale has said leaders of the National Super Alliance (NASA) will not win even a single seat in the region during the forthcoming general elections.
Duale, a strong supporter of President Uhuru Kenyatta, said that Jubilee will sweep all seats in the county when that time comes.
The Jubilee point man, who is defending his seat, spoke while drumming up support for Uhuru in Bula Bura on Wednesday.
The lawmaker argued that all the leading contestants in different races are Jubilee members or belong to affiliate political parties.
The legislator said that President Uhuru and his Deputy William Ruto deserve another term in office because they have initiated several projects in the country since they took over leadership following the last general elections.
He cited several projects including the connected of the county to national grid, tarmacking roads and carpeting of roads. He also said that the government has established modern hospitals in the area and improved infrastructure.
Duale will be squaring it with former deputy speaker Farah Maalim of Wiper and Abdi Yarre, who hails from the same clan as the MP. The two aspirants have exuded confidence that they will give Duale a run for his money when that time comes.
